Almhütte Auszeit
Tour description
DONNERSBACHWALD. The Almhuette Auszeit is the former bathing room of the farmhouse. This is where laundry was washed and personal hygiene was practiced. The original building was built around 1840 and extended with minor renovations for renting out. You have the option of sleeping either in 1 double bed in the bedroom or on a sofa bed in the living area. The “Rauchkuchl” is still partly present. The cottage has a rustic character and invites you to relax in the countryside. Hikes, sleigh rides and tobogganing are possible on the private property on the doorstep. Sledges can be borrowed.
The farm is still in operation. We are an organic farm with goats, horses and chickens.
The vacation home is located about 100 meters from the farmhouse and is surrounded by nature. Access by car up to 20 meters. You are about 400 meters from the main road, where you will find the bus stop for the free ski bus to the Riesneralm family ski area, 5 km away. For cross-country skiing fans there are 16 km of trails available.
The Almhuette Auszeit is heated by a wood-burning stove with hotplate. The heating and loading of the stove is done by you, after instruction. There is an electric radiator and electric boiler in the shower.
