Welcome to the BERG.WELT Apartment Schladming Dachstein. Nestled between the ski & hiking area Hauser Kaibling and the World Cup town of Schladming with the Planai-Hochwurzen ski area, the mountains of the Schladming-Dachstein region lie at your feet. Your perfect starting point for a unique mountain experience on the Schladminger 4-Mountain Ski Swing is Hauser Kaibling. You can choose whether to walk (about 10 minutes to the ski path to the 8-seater gondola valley station or the Schladminger Tauern cable car valley station) or drive for 2 minutes (to the valley stations) to access the Hauser Kaibling ski and hiking area. The beautiful village center of Haus im Ennstal is a 10-minute walk away, where you will find cozy inns, two bakers, an excellent pizzeria with a bowling alley, a sports shop, a newsstand, a grocery store (Billa), etc. From the village of Haus, there are very good bus connections in all directions – the bus is free in winter with a valid ski pass and in summer with the summer card.

Enjoy relaxing vacation days with stunning views of the mountains of the Schladming Dachstein region. From the terrace or living area, you will be enchanted by the sunset - even our son stood there wide-eyed and fully captivated for a whole 5 minutes at the age of 3 (and that's a long time ;-)). We have known our home, the Schladming-Dachstein region, since childhood, and we prefer to spend our leisure time in the mountains, skiing or snowboarding, hiking, or mountain biking. On hot summer days, we recommend cooling off with a trip to one of the nearby lakes - Tip for athletes: Don't forget your SUP ;-). *Winter:* 2 minutes by car to the Hauser Kaibling valley station – your perfect entry into the 4-Mountain Ski Swing (Hauser Kaibling-Planai-Hochwurzen-Reiteralm) with 123 km of slopes, top cable car facilities, and cozy huts; 10 minutes on foot to the Schladminger Tauern cable car or to the entry "Ski path Ort Haus" which leads you directly to the 8-seater gondola Hauser Kaibling (depending on snow conditions). Additional activities: ski touring, curling (5 minutes on foot), tobogganing on Hochwurzen or Galsterberg (both about 15 minutes by car); horse-drawn carriage rides, snowshoe hiking. Schladming town center (10 minutes by car), Dachstein glacier (good bus connection – about 35 minutes by car or 50 minutes by bus). We are happy to share our special winter tips upon your arrival ;-) *Summer:* 2 minutes by car to the Hauser Kaibling valley station; 10 minutes on foot to the Schladminger Tauern cable car. Both will take you to Hauser Kaibling, the highest mountain of the Schladminger 4-Mountain Ski Swing.
