Welcome to our bed and breakfast accommodation Pension Haus Maria. We are located in the idyllic Ramsau am Dachstein and are English owned and run. Pension Haus Maria is facing south with views of Planai and the Schladming Tauern to the south and immediately facing the stunning Dachstein Massive.

Ramsau Am Dachstein is an all year destination with activities to suit all season. Mountains, streams and vast meadows give a beautiful feeling of freedom and relaxation in the natural surrounding landscape. There are many and varied leisure and sports activities that start right in front of our house. Some of the activities include hiking, mountain climbing, paragliding, white water rafting, horse riding, sleigh rides, alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, just to name a few. We Are Schladming Dachstein Summer Card Partners and all our guests will receive the Summer Card. Pension Haus Maria is located on the panoramic walk which passes through Ramsau am Dachstein and is comfortable walking. The trail starts at Pension Haus Maria.

In winter there are wide and perfectly groomed winter hiking trails and hundreds of kilometers of cross-country skiing trails to suit all abilities. The Cross-Country Trail is just 200m away and perfect for families, children and beginners. It is 500m to the nearest Schladming Dachstein ski area including The Dachstein Glacier. Buses are free in Summer with our Guests Summer Card and in winter each journey only costs € 1,50 with our Winter Card.

We have 5 comfortably furnished double bedrooms in the typical country house style, furnished with bright and rustic wooden furniture. Each bedroom has en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. TV is therefore provided in each bedroom. All of the rooms have a balcony or terrace with beautiful panoramic views of the high plateau of Ramsau and the mountains of The Schladminger Tauern and Dachstein Massive.

The comfortable furnished breakfast room has a large panoramic window and a tiled stove. To start your day we offer a large and varied buffet style breakfast. Guests are welcome to use this room outside the breakfast room and have a TV for their enjoyment. A selection of beverages are also available to our guests.

In addition, we offer our guests a TV lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Ramsau am Dachstein and the surrounding area. The Großglockner, Sölkpass and Nockalm Road and specializing in catering for motorcyclists will be able to explore the region, often going on a day out.

We have four cats at Pension Haus Maria. They are not allowed in the Breakfast Room or Bedrooms but it is a consideration if you suffer from allergies.
