Parking fee Breitlahnalm

Schwarzensee is the largest mountain lake in the Niedere Tauern mountains. It is located in the Kleinsölktal valley and is surrounded by steep mountain slopes.

The lake can be reached by an easy walk from the Breitlahnhütte hut via hiking trail 786. It is possible to walk around the lake via an unmarked trail and the Harmeralm hut. The managed alpine pastures around the Schwarzensee invite you to take a leisurely, traditional break.

The parking fee (machine) is a vehicle-only fee and not a person-based fee, which is intended to encourage fewer but better-occupied cars to drive on this road.

Together with the alpine farmers, the Sölktäler Nature Park, and the municipality of Sölk, we are committed to preserving the beauty of the landscape—for you too. Certain facilities (parking lots, rest areas, paths, etc.) must be created and maintained, without which the orderly coexistence of nature, tourism, agriculture, and forestry would not be possible.

PLEASE NOTE: As there is usually no internet reception in the entire valley, payments to hut owners can only be made in cash.

By paying the parking fee, you are also making a valuable contribution to the preservation of this unique landscape.
