Castle Trautenfels
Tour description
30 years after the Battles of Stalingrad, this chapel was erected by the Austrian Stalingrad Association in Aigen in the Ennstal: 285,000 soldiers of the 6th Army were trapped, many wounded were airlifted. 250,000 soldiers had fallen, frozen to death or died in captivity. In contrast to the history, the area above the village of Ritzmannsdorf is a bright location with a fascinating view.
THE RESONANCE EXERCISE
YES-TO-LIFE
For You
- At a self-chosen point near the Stalingrad chapel, clench your hands firmly into fists several times and then relax them.
- Expand your upper body by deep IN-breathing, raise your arms loosely to the side, and powerfully spread your fingers like sunbeams.
- Create an inner or even audible “Yes-to-Life!” or “Yes-to-Peace!”
For Couples, Groups, or Families
- Perform the clenching and relaxing of the hands together.
- Perceive your own strength and counter-force in the tension and also the letting go of your own strength as well as the counter-force.
- Symbolically perceive and feel “War and Peace” together, for which gratitude can be felt.
